Concrete Vibrators
After cement is mixed, it must be poured evenly and all air bubbles eliminated to ensure strong, void-free concrete with a smooth surface finish. Our fleet of internal and external concrete vibrators is used on every structural concrete pour — from column bases to bridge deck slabs — ensuring compliant, high-quality concrete across all projects.

Steel Scaffolding
We maintain our own steel scaffolding system for use on large-scale projects — quality tested according to ISO guidelines to ensure constant safety for our workers, visitors, and adjacent structures. Self-owned scaffolding eliminates hire cost, ensures availability on our schedule, and allows us to maintain precise inspection and maintenance standards.

Formwork
Steel Shuttering
Urban Engineering is committed to constructing fair-faced buildings — and our own steel shuttering system is integral to achieving the surface quality that fair-faced construction demands. We also use steel shuttering on our public construction projects for bridge piers, retaining walls, and large concrete elements where surface quality and dimensional accuracy are critical.

Transport
Pick-Up Trucks
A fleet of Pick-Up Trucks with 5-ton capacity or greater — used in transporting materials, tools, and personnel to and from construction sites nationwide. Our own transport fleet reduces demurrage, ensures materials arrive when needed, and eliminates the scheduling constraints of third-party haulage — critical for meeting tight project programmes on sites spread across Bangladesh.

Excavators
Hydraulic excavators used for bulk excavation, trench cutting, and cut-and-fill operations across our construction portfolio — from residential and commercial foundation excavation in Dhaka to road sub-grade preparation on highway projects and mass rapid transit construction sites. Our excavator fleet covers multiple machine sizes to match each project's scale.

Foundation
Pile Rigs
There is no compromise in the quality of our foundation works — we use our own pile rigs to ensure the foundation beneath the ground is as strong as the structure above. Self-owned pile rigs give Urban Engineering direct control over pile installation quality, verticality, and concrete placement — eliminating the quality risks associated with sub-contracted specialist piling in Bangladesh's challenging soft clay foundation conditions.

Backhoe Loaders
Our hydraulic backhoe loaders are deployed in multipurpose activities across construction sites — from excavation and trench digging to clearing soil, loading and unloading materials, and backfilling. The backhoe's versatility makes it one of the most productive pieces of equipment on constrained urban construction sites in Dhaka where access for larger plant is limited.

For high-rise commercial and residential construction projects, our heavy lifting cranes — equipped with construction hoists — enable safe and efficient lifting of steel, precast elements, formwork, and materials to upper floor levels. Self-owned cranes allow Urban Engineering to maintain consistent lifting operations without the scheduling and cost unpredictability of crane hire in Dhaka's busy construction market.
